To celebrate the new adidas partnership with the University of Washington I traveled to Seattle to design a Speed Factory AM4 with 10 UW students.
We first discussed what the shoe should represent. We very quickly focused in on the environment and school colors.
The students were provided with sketching materials as well as iPads loaded with 3D design software.
After spending some time discussing a direction I then took the common elements and incorporated them into multiple ideas.
Once the raindrops motif was picked we looked at adding additional details that UW students would appreciate.
